I know that their was a big theme in PYC about “knowing history, knowing yourself”, but I honestly disagree with that statement. History can only take you so far. It shows you what happens and thats it and not ALL history is accurate. Humans fucking wrote it and it’s proven that humans aren’t always right. 

If you understand why things happen. The start of emotions. Why people do the things they do. Then you shall know yourself. 

I study the mind. Know the mind, then you shall know yourself. The first step of knowing the mind is knowing what you love. Knowing what matters. 

Without the mind, the history will only make you angry. If ya’ll educated yourself why people oppress each other, ya’ll wouldn’t be mad. What do you know about human aggression. What you know about the human mind? Study that first before you hate an entire race. Empower yourself first. 

And history is Fucked because human mind has very strong attachments pain. That’s why it’s written down. 

Ya’ll just know the small period of sadness opposed to the large scale of good years. 

After all, God wouldn’t create a world with more bad in the world than good.
